I liked this guy and couldn't resist picking on him, probably because he was an easy target. My affection mostly stems from the feature post he made critiquing my Feeding Frenzy column in Style. I was entirely grateful to draw fire from the Food Not Bombs people. They seem like such a nice group of hippies. I admire a group with a name like that. It's along the lines of Peace, not War, Life Not Death and Love Not Hate, but Food Not Bombs is very good, right up there with Heaven Not Hell. You will have to make up your own mind about Food Not Bombs, but the least you can say for them is that they think a lot of themselves. It makes me a little sad to think of the passionate, dedicated people I'd otherwise like, except for the fact that they'd really like to kick my ass if they weren't pacifist. Thank God for small favors.
I'm really grateful that Stokalee gave me such a high profile rebuttal. It made the top ten when I Googled myself, which made me very happy. No doubt of the five or ten people that actually read it, went on to read my article. In return I posted multiple responses, which two or three more people actually paid attention to. Where I come from, that's serious buzz.
Whoever said there was no such thing as bad publicity knew what they were talking about.
Thanks Stoke! You made my day. The least I can do is feed some traffic your way.
