Save Richmond has uncovered another insidious plot by the Richmond City Council. The even numbered pages of the RPS Facility Master Plan are missing. As everyone knows, the even numbered pages are the most important ones. This has to rank up there as the most dastardly deed since Rosemary Woods "accidentally" erased 18 minutes of White House taping. We can only be grateful for the vigilance of "
Mr. Save Richmond" for uncovering this sinister plot. Are there no depths to which Bill Pantele, affectionately known by his friends as "Mr. Bosnia", will sink to?
Hey, you don't win the Lawrence E. Richardson Freedom of Information award by sleeping on the job. Well done, Don Harrison, well done.

Paul, is the snark really needed? Don makes a very good point that if the public is to review and have a take on something like this, well, they might need the whole thing, not just half of it. How would you like to sign a contract that impacts your pocketbook, but only get to read every other page?
Now maybe it was just an oversight, maybe it was done on purpose, either way it needed to be called out and corrected, which happened.
Yes, I think it was needed. Is there anyone more snarky than Don?
It was an oversight, it was corrected and it was continued.
It was a serious oversight, one that should not have taken Don noticing and blogging about to correct. He even went so far as to say it'd been fixed in an update at the end of his post, even said how they've pushed the vote back two weeks because of the issue. Good on Don for bringing this to the Council and RVA's attention.
Having done office work most of my life, this kind of thing happens all the time. I don't think Don's blogging had anything to do with the subsequent events. A simple call to the City Clerk's office would have sufficed. This is not exactly Woodward and Bernstein material.
