Are Jon Baliles and Don Harrison The Same Person? (Now Less Snarky)

Or do you just work as a team? Sometimes I get confused.

Notice these two posts, one day apart.

More Rarely Seen Richmond

Birth of a Deconstruction

I will pick on your concluding comment Jon, because it's what caught my attention in the first place.

(Earlier comment rewritten for being exessively snarky)

But these (pictures) are for viewing purposes only and to remember our past and learn from it while we move ahead. They are not for pining about the good ol' days and stewing over the way things used to be.

Any attempts by the few hangers-on that want Richmond to go back to those times are strictly prohibited.

Yes those were bad times indeed. Even most black people I talk to over the age of 50 reminisce on days when children were safe and neighborhoods were strong and education was valued. This from people who have seen it all.

No one wants to return to the days of Jim Crow, well no one I know, but we have thrown a good many babies out with the bathwater.

Example two., when Keith West challenged George Braxton for School Board Chairman back in January.

Save Richmond » Richmond School Board: Go West!

Meet The New Boss, Same As The Old Boss?

Perhaps it is just a case of great minds thinking alike.

(Earler conclusion redacted for snarkyness)

New conclusion: My preference would be to have an engaging exchange of opinions on your sites. These are your posts. Even "old media" grants access to critical points of view. I briefly withdrew this post, but that's usually a mistake. I decided though that a rewrite was in order. Bookstore Piet has gently suggested I could use some table manners.

In think a better question is: Are Paul Hammond and all the alleged people who click on his blog the same person?

Paul Hammond said...

Unless I am Anonymous, there must be at least least two clickers.

Anonymous has further pointed out my date math is wrong. His careful proofreading is greatly appreciated and corrections will be posted asap.

Thanks for reading and writing. Come back again and sign your comment.

Correction:
The first two post reference were actually 9 days apart, not one day.

What do old postcards and a rapper have to do with each other? I don't get it.

And what is the big deal about posting a day apart anyway? (which I guess wasn't the case here)

The paper and tv and web news report on a bunch of the same stuff at the same time or same day. No biggie.

Paul Hammond said...

It's not a big deal. I'm just trying to pump up my Hott or Nott's.

Besides, it confirms everything Don Harrison thinks about me.

Pump up your what?

The questionable, but highly sought after popularity points on http://rvablogs.com/hott-or-nott.

Back in 2001 RVABlogs' online voting system was considered, but ultimately passed over, after the hanging chad debacle in Florida.

Why is it you always post anti RCR and SR so much? Whatever they put up you oppose automatically. What's up with that?

If they ever put up a post trying to talk you off the ledge I think you'd post why you wouldnt and go ahead and jump just to spite them.

Move on, dude.

Because they allow no conversation on their own sites, I bring the conversation here. Even the RTD allows dissenting opinions.

Anyone is allowed to comment here, Don, Jon and even yourself. It's plain rude to preach and not listen.

That being said, there are plenty of other things I like to talk about, quite often one to one and face to face. Your opinion counts as much as anyone's, on or offline. If you catch me treating anyone discourteously who comments here, call me on it.
