April Fools

In the wake of labor trouble and rumors of financial instability, Tobacco Avenue has announced that it will cease publishing effective immediately. A terse farewell posted on the TA website says it will be seeking new financing and hopes to reopen as a celebrity scandal sheet.
The staff of photographers, writers and web designers were stunned by the sudden announcement. In a related story, Style Magazine has announced the launch of it's own humor site and hopes to snap up some of the unhappy talent at bargain basement prices.

Tobacco Avenue founder, Chakradhar K. Svayambhuva , playboy grandson of renown Indian philosopherJ Krishnamurti, was holed up at the family compound in Charles City and unavailable for comment at press time.
