The 17th Street Farmers Market is one of the oldest markets in America and is located in an area seeing terrific urban renewal, yet it continues to struggle. The greatest contributing factor to this is the lack of quality management. The previous year's management might at best be calledand at worst, At present, no manager is in place, leaving assistant manager Linette Bond to do the work of two or more people in operating, restoring and growing the farmers market.
