I stumbled upon these pictures of last year's brood. I captured them live off the webcam. Every few seconds a little beak would appear. It was a rare transfixing moment that did not last. A day later the chicks were gone and the nest was empty, but I still remember that moment and these pictures bring it all home.



This year there is happier news. They have returned to their last years nest at Riverfront Plaza and three out of four eggs hatched successfully. Here's a recent picture from the
