"Three seasons after they finished a makeover at City Stadium, the Lynchburg Hillcats have now enjoyed three straight years of record attendance. That renovation was only completed when the City of Lynchburg agreed to loan $3 million to the Carolina League franchise.
Fourteen luxury suites that are rented on both a yearly and a per-game basis are at the heart of the $7-million upgrade. Some boxes were pre-sold for five years, with that revenue turned over to the city."
